School is Out Forever!

Well, we have finally come to an end of an era in my son's life...he has finally finished school. It has been a long haul for the both of us, starting with day care at age three to his final days of high school at age twenty. He has always been in Special Needs even in day care he had a one on one caregiver right to his last days. He still doesn't quite understand why he isn't still going on the school bus in the morning, but with time and patience he will accept the fact that school is really over. He will be attending special programs in the not to distant future that are run by a great organization called Community Living who take care of children and adults with mental disabilities all their lives. So even though one door has closed in Ryan's life, another great door is about to open. In my opinion I couldn't ask for anything better.
