First Anniversary of My Blog

Talking about missing an important date in my life, March 3rd was my 1st anniversary as a blogger. It was reading a friends blog that jolted my memory about my own special anniversary. I must give credit to my friends Mel and Michele and their Ketchup With Us for helping me decide to start my own blog site. In fact it was an assignment from this great site they invented that was my very first blog. I've never won any awards for my writings (oh well), but have had the privilege of having people from all over the world read my blogs, which in my opinion is better than any award I could win. I hope I have improved over this past year with my writings. Writing short stories and compositions with an occasional poem in school were a great passion of mine, one I hope to continue for a long time into the future. So as I move into my 2nd year, I hope my blogs will continue to be read by all my friends around the world. I want to dedicate this blog to Mel and Michele because if it wasn't for their great Ketchup With Us site, I might never have entered into the world of blogging. Thank you so much ladies.
