Ketchup With Us #37-Blog Hop

Today's Ketchup With Us choices given to us by Mel & Michele is A) the 10 minute timer, which is writing about anything that pops into your mind for of course 10 minutes or B) repost a blog you already wrote. I have chosen A), so here goes. This has been one of the wildest weeks I have encountered this winter season so far. We have been battling frigid temperatures, what else is new, snow squalls that caused a 100 car pile up on highway 400 up north outside of Barrie, Ontario and all around miserable times for all to put up with. But this time, as if all this wasn't enough, in my apartment building, on the coldest day of the week, it got to -30 celsius, the powers that be decided that something in the heating system needed to be fixed. So what do they do on such a cold, icy day...THEY TURN OFF THE POWER FOR SIX HOURS!!! This was not just the heat that was affected but the water goes off and so do the elevators, and we live on the16th floor! I ended up having to keep Ryan home from school that day because of the elevator situation so we got to freeze together (you know a family that stays together). The thing is it was suppose to be off for four hours, bad enough right,

not six, so anyone calling the office downstairs to find out what happened was met with voice mail instead of a voice. So there's my 10 minutes, so I will end with and how was your week?
