Ice Storm of Winter 2013

We are now experiencing the worst Ice Storm in Toronto history. It started yesterday morning and steadily got worse as time went on. I live in Mississauga but we are part of the GTA (The Greater Toronto Area) so we are all in the same boat so to speak. Two of the major hospitals are without power right now, never a good situation, but hydro is working hard to get them back on. We lost our power at 4:00 am but luckily it is  back on for now at least and hopefully won't go off again. Last weekend we experienced a major snowstorm, now ice. I hope we get a break soon from all of this, the cleanup on the other hand will take a while so we've been told. Merry Christmas to us. Pictures from my balcony...from the inside.
