Yesterday one of my favourite authors Tom Clancy past away at the young age of sixty six. He wrote many books about espionage including my all time favourite Hunt For Red October that was eventually made into a movie. The main character in his books was Jack Ryan, who was played by a young Alec Baldwin,(before he became obnoxious). I like this film so much that I finally had to buy a copy so I could watch it whenever it suited me. If you haven't seen this great film and it comes on television check it out you may be pleasantly surprised. I'm going to miss you Tom Clancy, but at least you have left a great body of work behind for future generations to enjoy.
