The week I Wish had never been
I'm talking about this past week starting Monday April 8th, 4:30 pm. Ryan and I were just leaving the grocery store to go to the bank because the debit machines had shut down just as we approached the check out and of course I had no cash on me. As we stepped outside, as my Mom would have said, the heavens opened. We had to walk very fast to the car because an Autistic kid with bad motor skills can't run. After repeating the same procedure at the bank, we finally got back to the grocery store, paid and left with our goodies. You would think that would be it, no this rain was nonstop all week, coming to a head on Thursday morning when we were hit with the biggest freezing rain storm I have ever seen. Ryan's bus was cancelled and he had his first official freezing rain day followed by another one on Friday. Today the sun is shining and it's reached 41 degrees, you woudn't think a drop of rain had fallen, except our Winter brown grass is now a nice green color. The only good thing this rain did in my opinion was wash away any traces of snow that was left over. So all I can say after all this is how was your week?

I hope the clouds part for you soon, Barbara. Both literally and figuratively. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is crazy! Rain can be a good thing, but it is so much nicer in moderation, and when it isn't freezing!
ReplyDeleteYour slideshow photos are gorgeous, Barbara!
Hope it warms up for you, soon. We're in the nineties here, and that could have waited a little longer to start, if you ask me.
Peace, love, and light,
Amy
