March Break-Ketchup With Us #38

This past week has not only been March Break for Ryan but another wild weather week. It started on Monday and Tuesday with sunshine and 10 degrees Celsius temperatures, great right? Then Wednesday came bringing what seems like our 100th major snowstorm this season. It brought 20 cm of snow, freezing rain, high winds and unbearably cold temperatures.Major highways were closed due to car and transport truck pile ups plus numerous accidents to high to count.Needless to say we have ended up spending 2 of Ryan's vacation days  in the house, thank goodness he's a content kid, just needs his music, DVD's and books (even though he can't read or write he loves his books). We had some rain last night which has finally washed away some of the snow we have accumulated this winter, not to mention the ice, yes that's ice on our tennis courts, I think that's going to take a while to thaw...maybe by May? Anyway tomorrow is suppose to be a sunny day but cold, but it's Ryan's last day of vacation so we'll try to make the best of it, go to the mall someplace  Ryan loves to go, especially Target. So there you have it, our great March Break, and all I can say is roll on Spring or better yet Summer!!! Oh, and I took this picture this morning and it has been 100 days since we last saw the grass.
